Stefano Lentini
Stefano Lentini is an Italian film music composer and multi-instrumentalist, who collaborated with director Wong Kar-Wai on the score for the two Academy Award nominated film "The Grandmaster". He has composed the scores for TV series including "The Sea Beyond”(Mare Fuori), "The Red Band Society”(Braccialetti Rossi), "The Red Door”(La Porta Rossa), “Studio Battaglia”, the Italian version of the BBC Series "The Split".
His album "Stabat Mater" (Milan/Sony) was universally well received, appearing in the iTunes Top 10 Original Score Albums charts in Italy, France, Belgium, Canada, Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong. His first instrument was a classic guitar made by his grandfather, who was a carpenter, out of some old wardrobe doors.
Stefano Lentini and FabFilter
“I discovered FabFilter through Alan Meyerson at Studio La Fabrique in France. So I started using the Mastering Bundle and was very impressed with the versatility and accuracy. I don't think there is a session of mine that doesn't have that equalizer turned on”.
“I also use the Limiter Pro-L 2 a lot, which has a great characteristic of transparency and sonic fidelity even under stress. I really like how the transient control works”.
“Then there is the hidden diamond in the compressed multiband Pro-MB that I use throughout the workflow, during production, in the mix and in mastering because it has great precision and I love the freedom of management of stereo linking with the mid-only or the side-only”.
