"Not sure if it is coincidence, but so many of my favorite albums are from the 1971 - the year I was born: Donny Hathaway's "Live", Stevie Wonder's "Where I'm Coming From", Billy Joel's "Piano Man", John Lennon's "Imagine", Aretha's "Young Gifted & Black", Miles' "Live-Evil", Joni Mitchell's "Blue", Sly's "There's A Riot Goin On", and Marvin Gaye's "What's Goin On."

Scott Jacoby and FabFilter

"Unless you've been living in a dungeon - don't most of us essentially work in dungeons - you've heard of FabFilter. And for good reason: not only are they the go-to tools for so many top creators in our industry, they are the best at what they do. In the same way that the greatest music of all time appeals to everyone regardless of its complexity, FabFilter plug-ins do incredibly complicated things with elegant simplicity."

"Pro-Q 2 is a game changer. Aside from using it on individual tracks, all of my tracks get bussed to stem auxes and each of those auxes have Pro-Q 2 on them. FabFilter plug-ins are invaluable for sculpting the sound of each stem to create the overall mix. Intuitive, innovative, inspiring. And of course, they sound so damn good."
