Roni Size

Roni Size is a well known DJ/producer in the world of modern music and has been involved in the electronic scene for around two decades (1993 to present day). With his band Reprazent he won the well recieved Mercury Music Prize in 1997 for their classic drum & bass album 'New Forms'.

Having built a name for himself through Full Cycle and other labels, such as Talkin’ Loud, 'Roni Size & Reprazent' took the world by storm in 1997 with their New Forms LP. Winning the Mercury Music Prize boosted their international status and the world awoke to the sound of Roni Size and Full Cycle. Thanks to such modern day classics as ‘Watching Windows’, ‘Heroes’ and ‘Brown Paper Bag’, the album quickly went platinum.

Following news of a new solo album and EP, Roni Size announced the return of Reprazent with three sold out UK live shows towards the end of 2014. Since then Reprazents have gone from strength to strength with crowd pleasing performances at revered UK festivals such as Love Saves The Day and Parklife. Summer 2015 promises to be a legendary one in the Reprazents history book with upcoming shows at Glastonbury, Latitude, Exit, Shambala , Audioriver and more.

The groundbreaking Drum & Bass band founded by Size will see the group return with a line-up comprising of Dynamite MC, Onallee, Si John, D Product, Jay Wilcox and Daishun Johnson. Reprazent are widely regarded as one of the most important live electronic music acts of the past two decades, their debut album ‘New Forms’ won the Mercury Music Prize in 1997 and was followed by 2000’s ‘In The Møde’.

Roni Size said: “Bringing back Reprazent has been on my mind for some time now. There's no better feeling than when you walk on to the stage to perform a live show, the noise of the crowd screaming, turns into a roar! It's all systems go. Then we all become one!!“

Roni Size and FabFilter

"I found out about FabFilter from a local music shop in London. I really like FabFilter Pro-Q 2, the equalizer plug-in, with the real-time spectrum analyser. Using that, I can easily pin point frequencies."

"Can't wait to add the finishing touches to my album with FabFilter's signature sound! Thank you, these plugins are AMAZING!!"
