Le Castle Vania

Atlanta based and internationally known, Le Castle Vania, commonly known as Dylan Eiland, quickly escaped the local trappings of his hometown in Georgia to play music around the world. Atlanta’s burgeoning music scene allowed him to develop his passion for music and nightlife, and he soon gained notoriety with his riotous DJ sets and penchant for production, which made him a household name in the dirty and distorted, indie-electro scene.

Eiland has come a long way since his first production, the 2006 remix of Snowden’s “Black Eyes.” He has remixed the likes of Kaskade, La Roux, Vitalic, Dieselboy, Kill The Noise, Grum, Designer Drugs and more, and began turning his hand to original productions with his first single “Awake.” After more remixes, releases & live performances alongside artists including deadmau5, Justice, Nero, Eric Prydz & Steve Aoki, Le Castle Vania began his own record label: Always Never. Now having completed his spring tour of Canada and the U.S with Dirtyphonics, Le Castle Vania is ready to unleash his debut EP to the world and in doing so is showing he is set to be a key artist on mau5trap and one to watch for 2013.

Now, Dylan is ready to release his first four-track EP on mau5trap on Monday, September 2, 2013. Having been announced by deadmau5 as the latest addition to his label, the Prophication EP is the first chapter of Le Castle Vania’s musical manifesto leading into a larger body of work in the future. Le Castle Vania and FabFilter

"Every product in the FabFilter suite has quickly found a home in my studio! Just hours after installing simplon it became my "go to filter". Whenever I need a filter, it's the first plug-in I go for because it sounds great and is easy to use both in the creative process with automation and in the back end mix down phase. I've also been experimenting with volcano quite bit for more advanced and creative filtering, you can come up with some amazing auto filters that are capable of breathing life into more basic sounds."

"Then of course there is Twin one of my favorite new synths! I've been getting all kinds of crazy acid sounds out of it if you slap a little distortion on it and some proper compression from FabFilter Pro-C you can always come up with a quick lead or bass line and then go to town tweaking it out using the dual filters! it's seriously got a unique sound of it's own is fully capable of screaming with the best of synths when put to proper use!"
