Instance List has Introduced Horrendous Instability

Reaper user, Fabfilter user for a long time

This mostly applies to ProQ but I believe it affects all fabfilter plugins where this feature is present.

It adds so much extra processing bloat to the plugin that running many instances across a large session introduces noticeable performance degradation.

However the worst case of this is using EQ matching, which will now brick and crash the DAW. It either decides it won't work, or because it has to look up any instance of FFQ4 open in any open session it will just lock up and crash.

This feature is poorly implemented and makes these plugins worse for general use.
It should be a setting that can be turned off.
The fact I have to open it to access certain features that previously weren't behind this window is a nightmare. Due to the instability.

The fact i am having to pull up Pro Q3 to do the work I am doing should tell you enough.
