I'm definitely with you on this! Pro-DS is a fantastic de-esser and a staple in my workflow, but the GUI is starting to feel a bit dated. An updated interface would be amazing. It would be cool to see some new features too; maybe even something to help tame sibilance specifically when recording high-performance engines, like the kind you hear in games like Drift Hunters! i have the same. i read this issue the third time here in this forum. In my case with FL Studio on MacOS Tahoe (Apple Silicon). After some time the ProQ4 interface becomes very slow. sometimes nearly unresponsive with mouse. So i think this problem with FF Plugins is not isolated to a specific DAW. Another User reported here problems with Reaper. I hope there will be an fix soon.

ProQ4 is obviously very powerful. What is its processor usage like? I know that depends on how much of its ability one is using, but .... Could one have 16 instances within a session on a 2018 3.2 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7 mini w/64G? Especially when the collision function is used.

Do you mean something like Ozone mothership? Not sure there is much sense in such a rack made by FF for their plugins unless it offers some perks compared to separate plugins. There might be some benefits though: less memory and CPU use by sharing loaded libraries between plugins, may be some performance improvements by reuse of calculations, etc. I would prefer if FF offered more granular plugins available, such as a separate multiband (or parametric) transient shaper. Michael, I'm in the exact same camp, but already made the move. I abandoned 1000s $ worth of music software. Ironically, I've been more productive with a smaller music library (on an OS that actually works for me and not the other way around). I came here to check whether I'd have to abandon FabFilter too or if the devs finally made a move to support it. Looks like there's still no support, so I'll be saying goodbye to FabFilter.

I recently said goodbye to many 1000s $ worth of music software because keeping Windows around just for music got too tedious. When your OS is getting in the way of your work and creativity, having a smaller music software ecosystem on an OS that works well is the better option. Many producers in my circle consider doing the same. I've been a long time FabFilter fan and customer and came here to check if FabFilter finally supports Linux or if I should look elsewhere in the future.
