Sat, 11 May 2024 03:43:24 GMT Please bring these to iphone. Would love to have a seemless workflow between ipad and iphone. Honestly who cares if the interface is smaller on the iphone. I scaled the fabfilters down to the size of my iphone on my ipad screen and was doable. https://prod.fabfilter.com/forum/topic#comment21066 (Comment on) additional 10% Discount Code for New Costumers? My version of Fab Filter is 3.25. I purchased Fab Filter because I was very impressed with it's masking assistance features. However, it seems that when I click on the analyzer button, only one or two seemingly random other instances of FF are listed as available in the list instead of all instances currently active in my DAW session. The list of instances is by no means complete and different instances show different ... https://prod.fabfilter.com/forum/topic (Topic) Twin3 feature request: option to disable analog drift Thu, 09 May 2024 13:02:42 GMT I probably already request this, but everytime i need something phase aligned either to layer with another bass instrument, or when making a kick layer, this becomes a serious issue. For low end stuff you can only use twin3 in isolation unfortunately https://prod.fabfilter.com/forum/topic#comment21065 (Comment on) Can Pro-L2 reduce or eliminate the need for Mastering Compression? Thu, 09 May 2024 00:51:19 GMT Thanks Ralph appreciate your insight. My question was partly prompted by the modest level of limiting required to target -14 LUFS post-master compression. Judging by the Pro-L2 graphs it seems in most cases the limiting is in the range of 1 to 3dB,which is less than I expected. https://prod.fabfilter.com/forum/topic#comment21063 (Comment on) R2 GUI, everything is more difficult to see than with any other FF GUI. Any adjustment available? Wed, 08 May 2024 13:09:41 GMT I understand your concerns and agree that having a gamma setting would be welcome. On Mac, you can simply open .component or .vst as "package" and all the PNGs are accessible in the Resources subfolder. https://prod.fabfilter.com/forum/topic#comment21062 (Comment on) Timeless 3 Retrigger not doing it's thing Wed, 08 May 2024 12:07:20 GMT Are you sure you're routing the midi in Ableton to the Timeless 3 plugin, not just sending midi to the channel the Timeless 3 happens to be on? (Works fine for me M1, Live 12, VST3-Timeless 3) https://prod.fabfilter.com/forum/topic#comment21061 (Comment on) Timeless 3 Retrigger not doing it's thing Wed, 08 May 2024 09:39:24 GMT Hi Andy, could you send us a small video showing the issue to info@fabfilter.com? https://prod.fabfilter.com/forum/topic#comment21060 (Comment on) Can Pro-L2 reduce or eliminate the need for Mastering Compression? Wed, 08 May 2024 09:37:53 GMT Hi Nick, In most cases a compressor on the master bus or during mastering is used for a different reason than a limiter is being used. A compressor is often used to add a certain tone or color, or glue the elements together a certain wait. A limiter is simply used to increase the level of the track and not get peaks. These two work closely together. For example a mastering compressor may cause that the limiter after it does not have to limit as much. However, generally speaking a limiter ... https://prod.fabfilter.com/forum/topic (Topic) Can Pro-L2 reduce or eliminate the need for Mastering Compression? Wed, 08 May 2024 09:00:36 GMT Rookie question I guess, but given the sophistication of Pro-L2's limiting processing, is there a case for reducing the use of mastering compression or even eliminating it altogether? This is assuming the mastering compression is only being used to increase volume, not change tonality .
