(Topic) Pro-Q 4 lagging in REAPER after updating to macOS Tahoe

Hi everyone, I’ve run into a problem with FabFilter Pro-Q 4 after updating my Mac to the new macOS Tahoe. The issue seems to happen only in REAPER, in Logic Pro everything works normally. In REAPER, Pro-Q 4 opens and works, but with heavy lag and slow response. Sometimes the whole project briefly freezes when I load or close the plugin. This never happened on the previous macOS version. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas what might fix it? Thanks in advance.

I have a producer I work with that uses Pro-Q 3. I bought Q4 assuming I could install Q3, but the license manager tells me I have entered a license for a different FabFilters product. Ideas? Thanks- isaac.

(Topic) Saturn 2 Envelope Follower scaling

I'm trying to setup Saturn 2 to dynamically add distortion for louder signal levels. I assume the proper way to do this is with the Envelope Follower. But when I map it to the Drive knob, while it works, the scaling doesn't seen to allow for a transition from zero drive to full drive by lowering or raising my guitar level. Is there a way to alter the scaling of the input signal?

(Topic) Odd (or Misunderstood) Side Band Behavior

In the past, I have noticed a bit of unexpected behavior when using Mid/Side EQ, that has caused myself a bit of confusion. I have a feeling this is not necessarily a bug, but a misunderstanding of how this plugin works. I'll try and explain as best I can with an example. I have white noise hard panned Left, and sent to a stereo bus. When I add an EQ to the bus, and a side EQ-band and give a little boost, I would expect everything to just get louder. Hi Jeremy, You probably need to download the latest installer of Pro-Q 3, which includes native AAX support. You can find it here: www.fabfilter.com/support/downloads

Hi Markus, What exactly does the error say? There seems to have been a dynamic plug-in processing issue starting with Pro Tools 2024.6, which seems to have improved with the latest 2025.10.

Since upgrading to an M1 mac book pro and using todays version of Pro-Tools natively. PRO Q3 doesn't show in the plug-in drop down menu. Other people I have spoken to say they have no problems. It is in the plug in folder and have deleted it and reinstalled, no luck Anyone else had this issue and have a fix? frustrating when I upload an older project that uses Q3 and its greyed out :-(
