Linux native-support
Hello everyone,
this is my first post in this forum.
English is not my native language, and my choice of words might unintentionally come across as inappropriate. If anyone feels addressed in an unsuitable way, I apologize in advance. I try to maintain a respectful and polite style and do not wish to hurt or upset anyone.
Due to what I see as unethical and exploitative methods used by Microsoft — arbitrarily updating their systems, collecting my data completely intransparently, and negatively impacting the performance of my DAW — I am considering switching to Linux. It’s an operating system that I have used professionally for about 30 years in quality-critical areas.
My question to FabFilter:
I know this question has been asked a number of times before. But sometimes things change over time. So here’s my question:
Do you now see any possibility of running your (great) plugins on Linux? Native support would be a great opportunity to break free from dependency on M$.
I absolutely support this request ... The GUI problems using yabridge/wine are unbearable.

Adding support to this as well. Fabfilter plugins consist of 90% of my processing when recording or mixing. If we could have FF plugins on linux, it will be a gigantic step for myself and many others towards getting away from Microsoft and Windows. Macs

Macs are great too, but having a custom laptop or desktop with Linux would be preferable to many.
I would love to see this as well
I am not an audio professional, but Linux are coming more and more.
I use Pro-Q 4 for headphone EQ on M1 Mac for headphone EQ with different music player.
My next computer could be with Linux.
