twin2 feature request

a solo button for each oscillator as well as on/off (or perhaps ctrl-click the on/off button?)

an option of a higher contrast gui - sometimes its not entirely clear when an item is disabled or active, particularly in the mod section (or perhaps a different colour as well as brightness)

an option for a wider gui version - like a lot of people i have a high res widescreen, i'm happy to have the twin2 fill more of my screen while i'm working on patched

thanks!

The solo option didn't seem necessary since you only have three oscs -- it's easy to toggle the two other oscs off...

We've paid a lot of attention to contrast and ease of use in the Twin 2 interface. What particular items do you think aren't clear enough?

We'll think about a wider GUI option, that could indeed be very useful.

it may be 'easy' to toggle the other 2 osc's off, but its a lot 'easier' to solo the one you're working on - since when did fab-filter go for the 'easy' option when they could be the 'easiest'? :)

to me there is a big difference between a single click to solo/unsolo the osc i'm working on, instead of mouse down - click - mouse down - click - mouse back up .... then repeat to hear them together .... then repeat to hear solo again .... then repeat to hear together .... etc

am i the only person who is solo/unsoloing the osc's a lot? perhaps i am! .... seriously, i do it a million times to check each one against the filters, with mods, then how they sound together .... it all adds up in terms of clicks.
you could say the same about recording, its easy to turn off all the other tracks instead of soloing :)

something like ctrl-click to solo wouldnt 'cost' any gui space :)

with the gui i find the difference between the 80% brightness of the 'on' and the 25% brightness of the 'off' far too similar, mostly with the mod slots. a lot of the time i just cannot tell whether it is on or off, especially with a smaller value. i find myself having to click it on and off to tell the difference.
... ok, just checking it now i see that when they are off the little power button appears, but its very subtle and looks like one of the letters.
i know you've got your colour scheme - which looks great - but a green tinge for on and a red for off would be nice :)

thanks

oh, i just noticed that when you turn off an osc its vol/pan stays lit up, why is that? with the filters and delay section when you turn them off they're dimmed.
