Sidechain

Hi Guys

I have noticed something with ProQ 4 that might be a bug.

I have a midi kick channel with ProQ 4 on it
I have another midi perc channel with Kickstart 2 on it

I want to use Kickstart 2 audio trigger from the kick channel (all the routing is fine)

When ProQ 4 is on there is no audio signal that Kickstart 2 detects, when ProQ 4 is off then Kickstart 2 detects the audio and starts sidechaining as intended.

Im unsure if it is a ProQ 4 issue or Kickstart 2 issue but I can replicate the effect easily.

Thanks for any help

What OS and DAW are you using? Can you send us a video of the issue?

Are you using Pro-Q 4 in zero latency or are you using natural phase/linear phase/spectral mode?

Are you using the CLAP version? What I've noticed is that the behavior is different between VST3 and CLAP. If you have 4 channels on a track in Reaper, then the VST3 will show 4 channels and automap the channels to 1/2 audio and 3/4 sidechain, while the CLAP shows 8 channels and automaps to 1/2/3/4 audio and nothing to the 4 sidechain channels.
