Question About Applying Student Discount Retroactively

I recently purchased some FabFilter plugins (Pro-Q, Pro-L, and Saturn) and just discovered that FabFilter offers a 50% educational discount for students.

Is it possible to request a partial refund to apply the student discount retroactively? If so, would the refund apply to my existing purchase, or would I need to buy a new bundle with the student discount first?
