Presets not showing in Cubase VST preset browser
Hello,
Since an update a few years ago, presets are no longer showing in Cubase's preset browser for all plugins.
It's not a fatal problem, but it's frustrating when I want to efficiently switch between many user presets.
If you know how to solve this, please let me know.
Thanks

Works fine in versions Fab15 , 2022 and earlier. Like this: www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/jqolsefxdfqjgzhsxqsne/fabfilter_FB2.png?rlkey=6kfp7l569nwk3up0wrcrdz6nf&dl=0
If there is no workaround, I hope it will be fixed in the next version.
Got the same issue. Other brands work fine with the vst browser of Cubase. I saw the same issue a year ago on the cubase forum, was wondering if there was any update. Because someone wrote to support about this.

Our presets never showed in the host preset browser, they only show in our internal preset browser.
Thank you for your reply. There was no problem with the previous version, so I would be happy if it is fixed in the next version.
Hi Ken,
can you explain the issue a little bit better? As far as we know the factory presets never showed up in the host preset browser.
Not Ken here, but trying to help out. Cubase acts as a host for Fabfilter plugins. It provides it's own preset management system, a browser/UI to save, organize, and recall presets at the host level. This system lets you save presets as .vstpreset files (for VST3).
Cubase presets made for Fabfilter plugins in the cubase preset browser, are not shown properly (See link 1). There are no names, no meta data and can't be selected. This problem only exists when using the Fabfilter plugins, every other works fine (like Valhalla, Shaperbox 3 etc). Link 2 is how it's suppose to look, with a name and a rating (1,2,3 test etc).
FabFilter may not fully support the VST3 preset/state system that Cubase needs to save and display presets.
Hope this helps.
