Saturn 2 how does the tone controls work?
I haven“t seen this explained anywhere so I hope to get an answer at this forum.
Say I chose three different bands (low, mid and high) then there are four tone controls at each band. So if I click on one of the chosen bands, say high what does the four band tone control do? It would be insane if I could say add bass when I chose the high band. Help please! : )

Yep,
Each band has it's own set of tone controls.
Try it out for yourself!

Thanks Pete, but that makes no sense. If I chose three bands and I'm in the high band then it's crazy if the tone controls affect say bass frequencies. Now I don't understand.
@Michael
Here's what the manual says:
The Tone controls adjust the bass, mid, treble and presence of the processed band signal, allowing you to tweak the harmonics generated by the distortion algorithm.
In this context it makes sense to me.
Hope this helps
Hi Michael,
The tone control in Saturn 2 are indeed fixed bands. It's a simply EQ that is applied to every band. It has a low shelf, a high bell, and two high shelves.
If you're using a tone control parameter that's out of the frequency range of the band, the EQ will be applied but you will not hear a difference. If you for instance have a band on 10KHz and higher, the low tone control will not do anything.
