No, this is not possible. Any interface settings are stored in the plug-ins' preference file, and not in a preset. A new instance will simply use the interface settings that are stored in the preference file. Any time you adjust a setting, it will be updated in the preference file so a new instance will also use a similar setting.

I'm sorry, I haven't figured out how to make the plugin always open in “medium” size. I have to go into the menu and change that size manually every time. It's laborious and time consuming. The scaling is remembered by the system, but not the size. And even if I save the preset directly in cubase/nuendo as default size, still the newly deployed plugin opens as “small”.

I think saving the plug-in in Cubase/Nuendo might be where the issue is. By default the plug-in stored the plug-in size in its preference folder. Any new instance that will be opened will use this setting. If you adjust the setting, it will be written to the preference file, and new instances will open with this new setting.

However, afaik preset stored with Steinberg applications kind of overwrite these settings. Can you see if removing any default settings of track presets using the plug-in resolves the issue?
