Pro Q4 feature request: realtime / offline processing options like in Soothe2
Hey FF, loving Pro Q4. It would be truly amazing given the new instance overview feature if you could set all instances within a project to change to Natural Phase or Linear Phase mode when rendering offline.
Q4 is go to on every track, sometimes multiple instances per track, over tens of tracks, and while 0 latency mode is fantastic for keeping minimal project latency when building a production, Natural Phase / Linear Phase just sounds better.
Sometimes I'll go back through the entire project changing all instances, but an automated feature for this would be a godsend. Thanks for doing what y'all do

Yeah, this is my number one feature request and (minor) complaint about Fabfilter's plugins: The lack of offline mode support. Having to manually configure "Oversampling" on every Fabfilter plugin in my projects is a huge time sink that could (and should) easily be automated away.
Setting all instances to a different processing mode is not always the best thing to do. Surely there are situations where linear phase processing might be crucial, but in most cases zero latency or natural phase mode might even be preferable. Same goes for oversampling; not all applications benefit from the same amount of oversampling.
Especially with today's computer power available, we feel there's more harm to be done using default offline settings than there are advatages. Besides that, lots of small differences in processing could cause an audible difference between the mix you've been auditioning while making the decisions and the actual rendered audio file. That's why we have not implemented a special offline/online processing mode in any of our plug-ins.
