HouseCurve / REW PEQ text file of filter parameters to Preset
Greetings, I am really trying to figure out how to streamline my Room EQ correction work flow at a venue. I can shoot the room with a sine sweep and generate a curve. From my app, I am able to export a Biquad Coefficient, a text file with 9 band parametric values, or a WAV file IR Response. Is there any way to use any of those formats to convert to a preset?
I tried to import IR into PRO-R and try to make reverb as fast as possible with shortest distance and width. Its a hack but it sort of worked. Ideally, I can import something into ProQ... but I really don't want to have to program the parameters by hand.
Any advice? I am on iPad and using the AUV3s. I would prefer not to use a computer if i can as well.
Thanks so much.
Hi Eric,
Since Pro-Q 4, presets are loaded and saved (and copied and pasted) in text format which is quite easy to read and write. You could try to make a script or tool to convert the EQ parametric settings that you have to a Pro-Q 4 preset file.
Cheers,
