ProQ4 - S6 Mapping Issue
I am working on Pro Tools 2024.10.1 and the WS Control V 2024.10.0.19. Also on a Mac Pro 3.2 GHz 16-Core Intel Xeon W.
When trying to make a custom knob map for Pro Q4 and when I choose "Band X Q" from the center section and then select a knob, it maps "Band X Freq" to said knob. It consistently does so and whatever band I choose it chooses the same band, but frequency.
A workaround I found is to choose "Band X Freq" and then map the secondary function, but doing this doesn't allow me to have slope and band solo access via the "sel" and "in" buttons.
Please let me know if there's a potential fix or workaround.

Since you're on the latest versions of Pro Tools and WS Control, ensure that Pro-Q4 is fully updated as well. Sometimes, small compatibility issues get patched in updates snow-rider3d.co
Hi Bret,
We just release Pro-Q 4.02 which has updated pagetables for Eucon. Can you see if this resolves your issue?
Hi Ralph,
I’m having a similar issue with v4.02 on an S6 with mapping. Main issue is mapping slope specifically. When selecting slow it typically chooses Band X Freq or Band X Shape. Using PT 2024.10.0 on a Mac Studio M2 Ultra running Sonoma 14.7.2. WS control is 2024.10.0.19
Hi Blake,
We've has similar reports. We'll investigate.
Thanks Ralph! To follow up, I’ve also tested this on an Avid S1/iPad dock setup and same issue where the slopes shown at the bottom of the “custom” menu for inserts show they can be selected but when dragged onto a knob, the knob then says “N/A”.
Hi Ralph.
Has your team discovered anything or have any solutions? Still having the same issues even with the new ProQ4 update.
We are seeing similar with Pro-Q4 v4.0.2 on Avid S6 and PT v25.6. Whenever we attempt to map "Q" to the S6 Fader or Knob module as a custom map, it is actually mapping "Frequency".
Similar to the other post, we can map Freq to the Fader as a TOGGLE command and then access "Q" when pressing the Select button on the Fader to toggle b/w Freq and Q. However, every time to knob press the Q4 button for it to auto-expand, it defaults back to the primary "Freq" function and I have to toggle it to "Q". Please address this. Thanks.
We've been working on this with Avid. Both the next Pro-Q 4 and the next PT/Eucon version should resolve this.
