Just upgraded from 5.2.7 to 5.3.1, after opening a project all my FabFilter plugins crash and need to reload them one by one.
I downgraded to 5.2.7 again.
I suspect it is a problem with Bitwig.
After having a thorough look at the problem it turned out to be an issue with CLAP in Bitwig.
We've been in contact with them and a fix is being worked on.
@Benji, as Logic doesn't use CLAP I doubt this is the same issue, so could you send us an email with a more detailed description of the problem so we can see if we can reproduce it?
Hi Jeremy,
Interesting! Can you consistently reproduce it in Bitwig? If so, please send the instructions to info@fabfilter.com
Hopefully we can reproduce it! Also, don't forget to include your OS information and plug-in format.
Thanks in advance!
It just happened, I will try to reproduce and share a project, but here's what I do:
I have a complex project with probably 10 instances of Pro Q4.
I switch from a simple project I'm using to test, to the complex project.
On the complex project I "activate audio engine" and if I hit play DURING the activation I may get "Plugin crashed".
This hangs the entire Bitwig process and I have to kill.
I have "sandbox by vendor" selected.
Mac Sequoia 15.3
Bitwig 5.3 Beta 7
Pro Q4 CLAP
