Track name not appearing in Q4 Instance view

Hello,

I am running Reaper 7.28 in win 10, using plugin V4.01

I use containers in Reaper for my effects chains

When I put a Pro Q4 vst3 in the container, it does not show up in the instance view with the track name. It shows up as Pro-Q4, Pro-Q4(1), and so on.

When I put a vst3 on a track outside of a container, the track name appears in the instance list.

I suspect the container blocks the track name from getting to the instance view.

It there a way to get this to work?

Hi Pete,

It indeed sounds like the container does not pass on the track name to the plug-in. We don't have a solution for this, but you could ask the developer of the container to include the track name in the info sent to the plug-ins.

Thanks Ralph

I am having the same issue. When using FL studio lastest version, I have assigned a pro q4 to each track, but unlike with pro q3, when I go to analyze for masking, each pro q4 is displayed as i.e. Pro-Q (10) , Pro-Q(12), etc... instead of by track name. There needs to be an update to fix this.

Brock, if you use the VST3 version of Pro-Q 4, it will pick up the track name in FL Studio.
