Are pins supposed to be remembered?
Are pins supposed to be remembered after closing (and reopening) the plugin window? To me it seems like an obvious feature that is missing.
I know they can be saved to file, but I don't want to have to use the mouse to reload them every time.
I'm using Reaper, btw.

I didn't say in the topic that this is a question about Pro-Q 4.
Fell free to fix that if you are an admin. :-)
Look up "save as default" in the manual
No, I don't want to change my default preset for all new instances.
I only want (even expect) my selected pins to remain when I close and reopen the same instance.
"selected pins"? Not sure what you mean, sorry. You mean the selection itself?
In the manual you use use the terminology "pinned tracks", like in:
"The Filter Pinned button toggles between showing only pinned tracks, or all tracks."
So after I pin some tracks, close the plugin and open it again, my pins are gone.
ah you mean the instances window, OK. Sorry no idea.
Oh, you don't work for FabFIlter. WTF :-)
Hello
I would also love for it to be remembered! for post sessions, it seems unusable without the memory of which tracks are pinned since we open and close windows all the time!
I hope to see it in a future update !

Hi Mikael,
I don't think these pins can be remembered, but you can double check with Reaper. With every other DAW, the track width of the host will determine the layout of the plug-in. Since reaper is so flexible, it will let you assign other plug-in layouts, but this flexibility also means that the default layout that they request will not always match your workflow.
