Pro Q4 - No Colour Coding with Pro Tools / AAX

Hi there FabFilter Support,

i was wondering if the track colour not being recognized by Pro Q4 (Instance List) within Pro Tools / AAX is a bug or a feature? Isn't this feature implemented yet with AAX or is it not supported by AAX?

Track order and track color is currently not supported in the AAX format currently. We have been in touch with Avid and they will definitely include the track order in a future update. Track color was still on the table though, so fingers crossed.

Hey Yall!
Having spoken to Avid support in the past, I'm not surprised this still isn't working in 2026, just disappointed.

FabFilter continues to support the community at large with world class tools that in my opinion have no match. Avid just wants my $300 a year ='[

Avid has been very responsive lately, and they've implemented track order and insert order now in the latest Pro Tools release. Track color is still pending but I trust that it will be added fairly quickly too.
