Pro-Q 4 upgrade from Q3 Non tech Noob question
Two questions please. I have Q3. When I upgrade to Q4
Will I be able activate both (Q3 + Q4) at the same time in the future, for example when I upgrade computer?
Will Q3 remain in my Fabfilter online account for downloading in foreseeable future if I have both Q3 and Q4?

If you look at your combined license key you will see all the versions you have access to.
At the bottom of prod.fabfilter.com/support/downloads you will see additional downloads if you need to reinstall.

I never upgraded from one version>another with Fabfilter plugins, and didn't know how/if older versions will play out in the future installations.
So combined key will activate predecessor too. Good to know. Thanks!
P.S. For example with Steinberg there is a fork with licensing. So if your product did not make it to new licensing model, you are pretty much screwed, when re-installing after May 2025, unless you got one of their usb DUNGles, which are, surprise! out of production.
I always admired Fabfilter for no-nonsense easy license activation, and I really like Q4. Nice surprise! Most likely will get it within couple of days.
Yes, Steinberg made some interesting moves with the eLicenser.
With FF you are covered. They always had an easy activation key.
