Artifacts by using spectral eq / pro-q 4
Hello everyone,
does anyone also have the problem of artifacts in the sound when using the spectral function of the pro q 4 ?
For example, I have a synth sound that still sounds "normal" when I insert the pro q 4 as soon as I set the spectral band and it Grabs the frequencies, it sounds slightly like rate reduction or bit crush...
I have the saturation off, low latency mode / middle.
Has anyone solved the problem or found out how to prevent these artifacts?

i Think i have the same, i have used it over a Lead and the Lead start to sound distortet, but also out of sync, like a different rythm
Can you email us with a list of steps to take (e.g. a preset and a source audio file) so we can try to reproduce this issue?
Cheers,
Unfortunately, I no longer have the synth sound in this form because I changed it in the song. However, the appearance of the artifacts remains with pretty much all sounds.
In the example I sent you by e-mail (b....l[AT]gmail.com) you can hear the artifacts like a short metallic room reverb.
I have also attached a preset in which only a bell filter and the spectral setting have been activated...
If you generally lower the band, the artifacts also become quieter... seems logical as the frequencies are cut out completely. I wanted to mention it anyway in case it helps with the search.
Thank you very much and best regards Felix
