Copy and Paste selection of bands not working (as per manual)
Hi,
Love the update. One feature I'm glad to see having made it is the ability to copy and paste bands between different instances of Q4. However, unless I'm not understanding things correctly is this functionality limited to a single band at a time?
The manual states:
"Copying and pasting bands
You can copy any band or selection of bands by right-clicking on a curve dot, and choosing Copy from the curve menu. Now, you can paste these band in any Pro-Q 4 instance by right-clicking anywhere in the display, and choosing Paste from the menu that appears. To copy all bands, right-click on the background and click Copy from this menu."
Emphasis on "band or selection of bands". No matter what method I try (selecting multiple bands, right clicking a band, etc) I'm unable to successfully paste more than one band or completely overwrite the new instance.
Is this a bug or am I missing a menu option somewhere to copy a select few bands and paste them in another instance in addition to what's already there?
I'm on a Mac ProTools 2024.10.1
Very strange. I just discovered that multiple-band copy/paste doesn't work in the 4.00 version. We'll definitely fix this ASAP. Thanks for the report!
Cheers,
I'm also unable to copy all bands by "right-click on the background and click Copy from this menu". Doing this results in the only the most recently created band being pasted across.
I assume this is related to the issue above though it appears the original poster's issue was only related to selecting multiple bands.
Thanks

Further to this, when using the copy/paste function in the Presets menu I am getting expected results, with all bands being pasted.
The issue is only when using the 'background' right-click menu, and when selecting multiple points.
