Why does the system stop helping update the security after the email address has changed, the password can't be updated, still waiting on a link for 6 hrs

Why does the system stop helping to update the security after the email address has changed, the password can't be updated, still waiting on a link for 6 hrs, tried a number of times... weekend project not moving forward on new equipment, anyone in the office? No reply to three emails, help? Anyone? I just need access to my account download and register. Will keep copies offline in future, my mistake.
