Pro Q3 makes the fans on my iMac go absolutely crazy!

Can you tell me why it does this?

Every time Pro Q3 is on my screen (iMac_intel_3.6 GHz 8-Core_Intel Core i9_64GB RAM_Sonoma 14.7_Logic_11.0.1), this makes the fans on my iMac go in to overdrive - WHY???

For example I have Shade / UVI plugins - and if I didn't adjust the *UI refresh rate* in preferences to 20fps instead of 80fps this will make the fans go into overdrive (if you leave Shade @ 80fps - this makes the fans engage and it feels like my iMac is going to blow up!

Pro Q3 is the only plugin that is doing this - and I feel that this a *bug* and BTW - it never USE TO DO THIS BEFORE!

Could you tell me why this is?

I would like a solution to stop my iMac fans overreacting - it's absolutely ridiculous why this is happening - it is VERY UNNECESSARY!!!!

I look forward to hearing from you shortly - hopefully with a solution FabFilter!

Hi LJ,

you can try to lower the resolution or speed of the analyzer in the bottom menu bar of Pro-Q 3.
