Bug on Pro Tools 2024.6
Note: I am Japanese and cannot use English, so I am writing this text using DeepL translation. It may be difficult to read.
I was having frequent crashes using Fabfilter Pro-Q 3 in Pro Tools 2024.6, so I contacted Avid Technical Support and tried various options. I have been in contact with Avid tech support and have tried everything.
The crash does not occur when running on an Apple Sillicon machine.
This seems to be a problem specific to the Fabfilter plugin, as it is not affected when using other GPU-based plugins.
Turning off the GPU accelerator results in loss of usability, and running it with built-in graphics results in CPU spikes and an AAE -6101 error.
Please address this issue.

Sorry. My writing style seems to have been broken. Here is a summary
PC: MacBook Pro 2018 15-inch Core i7/RAM 16GB/SSD 512GB/Radeon 580M
OS:macOS Sonoma 14.5
DAW: ProTools 2024.6
Plug-in that caused the problem: fabFilter Pro-Q 3.26
1. Crash event occurs with ProTools 2024.6 on Intel machines.
2. No crash on Apple Sillicon machine.
3. I tried using the gSwitch application to fix the GPU, and this event occurs only with Radeon graphics.
4. The event does not occur on Intel internal GPUs, but the AAE - 6101 error occurs.
5. Turning off the graphics accelerator has no benefit other than “no crash”.
6. This is most likely a problem specific to the fabfilter plugin, as it works fine with plugins that use other GPUs.
