Rent to Own
Hi there,
Is there anyway one could rent to own the fab filter plugins.
If not, is this something that would be available in the future?

Hi Milan,
We currently don't have an option for rent-to-own. We don't have any plans to offer this in the near future.
Cheers,
Why?
I really like the idea of “rent to own” because it makes it easier and more flexible for users to access premium plugins like FabFilter, and also helps incredibox-game.io/home invest long-term without financial pressure from the beginning.
It would be really great to have that rent-to-own option; that's how I bought Serum. Without it, I would never have been able to afford it.
Totally agree, in a lot of countries the US dollar isn't cheap, so a great way to help producers rom other places would be the rent to own option. Example, right now in my country the banks won't let you use more than 100Sus per month on online shopping... so for the moment is impossible for me to buy... but would love to have the Pro L2, Pro Q3, Pro MB...
If rent to own was an option everybody would use your products..
That would be really great! I think it would interest a lot of people and help prevent massive piracy of your plugins!
Yes it would be awesome getting hands on top tier software using rent to own. Would be easier for starters.
It would make a great steady monthly cashflow, too. :)
Please, devs, consider rent to own...
Me too, i would have bought it this evening...
Another year of checking if FabFilter offers rent-to-own 😅😭
Fabfilter needs to be rent to own! It’s the last premium plugin I want and it’s always the one I want the most. Everything else I got through rent to own.
Rent to own would probably require additional operational expenses from FabFilter side depending on financial institutions that serve them. Add to this the need to change the licensing scheme/code with ability to revoke the license at any time.
But there are alternatives. PayPal offers Pay in 4 option, and there are frequent credit card offers in the US with zero interest for up to two years and no fees (right now Wells Fargo offers a card with 21 months zero interest on purchases). Europe and other parts of the world are probably less credit friendly though.
