I presume this question has already being asked, but I'll repeat it as the solution does not seem to be available at this moment.
I work in post. Whenever I use a bell or a notch filter to cut some frequency out, I hear ringing on the cut frequency during and after the sound stops. It is quite audible and extremely annoying and in many cases renders the filter unusable. Switching to linear phase only moves the effect in time, but does not eliminate it.
Needless to say, I love Pro-Q3 and I tend to use it whenever possible, but this bug/feature is seriously annoying.
There are a few other equalisers that don't suffer from this syndrome on the market, but these lack some features your product has.
