C2 causing distortion with fast attack settings
I recently downloaded the latest updates for my C2 and now I am getting bad distortion when using fast attack settings. Sounds like digital clipping, but it is not clipping. I am on windows 11, i5 processor, 16g ram, Studio one professional (latest version). Anyone else experiencing this? Is there a fix? Thank you in advance.

Sure it's with every compressor I used so far. If you go for really fast attack times it will have an audible effect. A workaround for that is using Lookahead. I usually use that method when I really want to get rid of high peaks in drums or for really high vocal peaks. Set the Lookahead around 0,5-1,5sec. whatever may sound good.
Sometimes you still end up with a audible distortion like sound. Then you should consider using a clipper instead. Because it seems like you really want to effect the fastest peaks in the audio signal. Clipping may work better on drums but also good on synth ;)
