Q3 sometimes does not analyze the entire audio track currently playing

when adding Q3 to some tracks with short clips the spectrum analyzer will either trigger for just a split second, or not at all, while the audio is still playing
these clips can be as short as 0.5 second in which case that would be understandable
but when the clip is closer to 2 seconds and the plugin only shows the first 0.5 seconds then there is an issue
I can't seem to find anything to help on the matter

Just noticed this happens with other plugins as well
So far I've noticed this in Q3, DS, MB, L2, and C2

And more so, it seems that the plugin won't affect the audio that it does not analyze which is no more sever of a problem than just not showing it visually

Could you elaborate a bit on the issue? What host are you using? What OS version?
