sorry if some (or most) of these have been mentioned before (most should be relatively obvious choices anyway), but here are some of my suggestions anyway:
Fabfilter Pro-DS
1. scalable GUI
2. side chain EQ like the one in Pro-C 2
Fabfilter Pro-G
1. scalable GUI
2. side chain EQ like the one in Pro-C 2
3. transient detection mode
Fabfilter Pro-MB
1. possibility for narrower bands
2. optionally individual outputs per band
Fabfilter Pro-Q 3
1. option for non inverse gain linking between positively and negatively boosted bands
2. ability to display the delta between output and input volume in +/- db
Fabfilter Pro-R
1. Pre-EQ in addition to the Post-EQ (switchable between pre- or post controls, but both active, if desired)
2. low(er) density mode(s)
New Modulation System Introduced in Timeless 3, Saturn 2 and Volcano 3
1. maybe it's just me, but i would appreciate if you could overthink if you can make these work with less clicks / steps again, like it used to be before in their predecessors
Thanks for the feedback. A lot is indeed already on our list, but we can't make any promises if or when it will be implemented.
In terms of the pre/post eq for Pro-R: there is no difference whether you put the EQ before or after the reverb. Besides the character parameter, Pro-R is a linear reverb.
You can try so by making 2 channels with the same source and Pro-R with the character set to Clean (0,00%). If you put a Pro-Q before Pro-R on one track, and another Pro-Q with the same settings after Pro-R on the other track, the two will completely null out when you flip the phase on one of them.
So the option to set the EQ section either before or after the reverb would not result in any difference in the audio.
