FCPX on M1 runs FabFilter slow
Hi
Ever since I upgraded my mac to an Macbook Pro M1 Max - FCPX seems to run very slow when using the Fabfilter plugins. I get tons of beach balls all the time - especially when having open the graphic editors.
Since my new computer is much faster than the old (Intel) I'm pretty sure it is not a matter of system ressources. So maybe it is an M1 or FCPX compatibility issue?
Anyone else experiencing this?

One thing you can try is to disable graphics acceleration. Please see here:

A hack like disabling graphics acceleration might be a short term solution, Apple Silicon (M1,M2, etc) is going to stay for a while and many use Apple host apps like Logic and FCPX, please make sure your products run without problems on Apple Silicon.
I have tried to run Pro Q 2 (Intel version) in FCPX with the plugin hanging for many minutes, then I switched to Apple Silicon version of Pro Q 3 and it also did hang FCPX, can you please look into it?
