Achieving Characteristics of Other Multiband Compressor with Pro-MB?
I absolutely love Pro-MB. However, as with most plugins, there are times when I find myself leaning towards Waves Linear Phase Multiband.
I know we have multiples of the same type of plugin for this very reason. However, I would like to know if/how I could achieve the same thing with the Pro-MB?
For example, on my mix bus or when mastering, if I am using the Waves LinMB, I like to begin with the "Multi Electro Mastering" or the "Greg Wells GW Mix Buss" preset and use the threshold to tweak to taste.
When I try to emulate this using Pro-MB, setting the crossover points and all other settings as close as I can to the LinMB, it's very close but not quite there.
I'm just curious if anyone else has a similar experience with both plugins and has been able to recreate the characteristics of the LinMB within the Pro-MB?
