Pro-C2 causing crashes in Ableton Live 11.1 on MacOS MBP M!

After updating to the Apple native version of Live 11.1 I started experiencing crashes while opening up old projects. Opening my default template (which is does not have any external plug-ins) would not cause any crashes.

After uninstalling all plug-ins and reinstalling Live I stopped having problems, and could open old projects again.

After reinstalling FF plugins opening old projects would crash again. I checked the crash report and noticed it naming Pro-C2, so I deleted the vst2 version of Pro-C2 from the library folder. Now opening old projects does not cause Live to crash.

I have several other FF plug-ins installed (vst2, vst3 and AU) and they not seem to cause the problem. Likewise, the vst3 and AU version of Pro-C2 does not seem to cause the problem either, only the vst2.

The vst3 version of Pro-C2 does not appear to cause

Is there anything specifically about the vst2 version of Pro-C2 that would cause this to happen?

Hi Jakob,

Thanks for the report! Can you send us the crash report to info@fabfilter.com so we can investigate the crash?

There was a bug in Ableton 11.1 with recalling the settings of some VST2 plug-ins. Ableton has found a fix and released a beta. Please find the installer below and let us know if this resolves the issue:
