Cannot see wave forms or level meter in Q3

I am using Q3 on some tracks, some tracks are showing wave forms moving with the music, but when I open a new instance of Q3, there are no wave forms or level meters?

I think I am missing something obvious, but can anyone help?

Did you maybe accidentially disable the analyzer like so:

Check the Output Level Meter button in the Output options panel:
www.fabfilter.com/help/pro-q/using/output

And check the analyzer options like Manuel says:
www.fabfilter.com/help/pro-q/using/analyzer
