I make music with 2 other partners. Would I have to purchase another license or can my 2 studio/ trio mates have fab filter on their computers as well?

A normal FabFilter license is personal: it contains the licensee name. It can be used/installed on multiple computers, as long as the licensee is the person working with the licensed plug-ins. So if you are all working on your own computers, you would need to use your own licenses.
