What is the best way to use Pro-L2 with sound design group tracks?
Hi Guys,
First of all, I love the FabFilter plugins and want to thank FF for making them.
My question is the following: I've got a sound design template in Cubase with multiple group tracks for different categories of sounds.
I want the group tracks to all have their own instance of Pro L-2, so a limiting-level can be set for each group.
So, my question is, what is the best way to go about this?
What I could do is to have a pre-fader instance of Pro L-2 set to about -20 dB, with about the same level of gain, so the group track is adequately limited, and the level can be adjusted without affecting the level going into the limiter. This would allow me to dial in relative group track levels quite quickly.
But, I’m not sure if this is the best way to do it, so I’m open to all suggestions!
