Pro Q3 Analyzer
Probably a noob question,
but when I pull up fab filter pro q 3 and use the analyzer, when it shows the other Pro Q's in my arrangement it doesn't list the track name like it should(instead of saying like proQ bass or proq vox it says proQ and then a number like pro Q10)
From reading directions i was under the impression that the pro q would take the track name that it's on for the analyzer.
Can someone tell me what's going on here and how to get it so that the proq's in the analyzer show the names of the tracks? I won't be able to know what i'm measuring the track's eq against if i don't know the name of the other track's eq.

Hi Ben,
Could it be that you are using the plug-ins in VST2? Please note that VST2 does not have the option to show the track name, only the number. The VST2 format simply does not provide a track name. To show the track names, please use AU, VST3 or AAX.

cheers man yeah i was using vst2 switching it to vst3 for my next tracks
