How to automate linked frequencies in Volcano 2
Hey FabFilter team,
I'm having trouble figuring out how to use DAW automation (in my case Logic Pro) to automate the frequency of linked filters. Is it possible to do this?
I would like to use one automation lane in order to automate the frequencies of multiple linked filters in tandem, i.e. without having to automate the frequency of each filter individually.
If I automate the frequency of one filter, it does not automatically change the frequencies of any linked filters accordingly. I also don't see any automatable parameters for the link itself.
Would be great if you could help me out. Explaining how this is possible, or stating so if it isn't, would be a useful addition to the Volcano 2 user manual (or at least I wasn't able to find information on this in there).
Just add an x/y controller in the modulation bar, then connect either x or y to both filter frequencies and modulate x or y in your DAW. Problem solved :)
