I'm wondering what the veritcal axis represents in pro-q. I have a sound that peaks at around -10db for most of the frequencies between 1k-5k. If I leave the track fader this sound is at 0 it peaks at -3db. Does this mean the summation of all the frequencies adds up to this -3db value, even though most of the frequencies are peaking well under -10db? Also, is there any relation to the waveform and the frequency chart shown in pro-q?
