Pro-Q 3: Adjust gain of multiple bands up/down (not relative)
Hi All,
In Pro-Q 3, is it possible to adjust the gain of multiple bands at once in a constant, non-relative way?
For example, if I had one band that was +4db and another band that was -4db. I want to shift the whole thing down 1db, so it should subtract 1db from both bands. The end result would +3db and -5db.
Is there a way to do this without manually adjusting each band?
Thanks,
-Bill

Hi Bill,
Unfortunately it's not possible to add a certain amount of gain change to all bands. The changes are always relative, whether you selected multiple bands or when you're using the gain scale found in the output section.
Cheers, Ralph
Hi Ralph,
Thanks for your response.
It might be a nice feature to add, because when using EQ Match, if you don't get the overall gain matched correctly, the whole EQ curve is shifted up or down. It would be nice to be able to adjust the curve up or down to "normalize" it back to the 0db line.

Nice idea
I can definitely see how this could be useful. We'll see if we can accomplish this via e.g. a modifier key.
