Pro-L2 loudness scale confusion

Hello,

I was mastering a track at -14 LUFS integrated loudness and Youlean Loudness Meter says I'm only at about -28, -30 LUFS.

Now I'm confused. Which one is correct? Is there a difference in loudness scale? Pro-L2 is already limiting, I can't push it another 14 dB.

Hi Jeroen,

I've just tested the free version of the YouLean Loudness Meter 2, and they both have similar results. Could you send us a session in which you have this issue to info@fabfilter.com, so we can have a look?

Hi Ralph,

Found the issue: Pro-L2's Unity Gain was still on. Makes sense that the ouput would remain the same.

With Unity Gain disabled both meters report the same value.
