Fabfilter Pro-Q 3 on Logic Pro 9?

I have an older macbook pro where I've kept OSX 10.9.5 running for reasons of resources and keeping older apps compatible. This also hosts Logic Pro 9.

Installed Fabfilter Pro-Q 3 fine there, yet when running Logic Pro 9, I don't get to see it available as an Audio Unit when adding an Insert.

Also tried rescanning all Audio Units before Logic starts but to no avail.

Any other tips?

Niels

Solved this one myself. :-)

Fabfilter Pro-Q 3 is a 64-bit plug-in. I was running Logic Pro 9 in the 32-bit mode (unbeknownst to me). Changed this to run in the 64-bit mode. Voila! Fabfilter plug-ins are now available as Inserts.

Hi Niels,

Starting with Saturn 2 and our latest General update, we dropped 32bit support for Mac. Logic 9 is indeed a 32bit application. We do still have our 32bit version available on the following page:
