Pro Q 3 Demo Crashes Pro Tools 2020

Hi there,

I download the 30 day demo yesterday and was using two instances of it in a Pro Tools session, V2020.5.0 on a Mac running High Sierra.

It all worked fine for a while and then I would get the spinning beach ball. I shut down, rebooted and restarted and that fixed it.

This morning I open the same session and it crashes immediately. I started the session with all plugins disabled and slowly enabled them. When I got the Pro Q3 and hit play Pro Tools would crash. I created a new session and imported the data from the old one, same problem.

Only way I could complete my job was to get rid of Pro Q3 and use an alternative.

I was going to buy the plugin but I can't if it this happens.

Do you have any suggestions?

It should be no problem running Pro-Q 3 on your described system. Could you send us a crash report at info@fabfilter.com?

Hi Rob,

They should be in on of these locations:

/Library/Logs
User/Library/Logs
