I was wondering if look-ahead in the Pro-C2 is practically the same as feeding the sidechain with a forward shifted, duplicated track (dumb) or is there some "thinking" and "anticipation" going on (smart)? I tried it with a very short kick and max look-ahead, and the gain reduction graph looked different, as if the reduction was held at maximum until the signal was actually effected.
Whatever your answer may be, is it the same fo all products (Pro-G, Pro-MB)?
