VST3 L2 and Q3 are stereo within Pyramix surround tracks
Hello,
Why is it that the VST3 L2 and Q3 plugins are stereo even when placed in a surround track/bus in Pyramix?
Their VST2 counterparts behave correctly.

Hi Raphael,
We did see this before and also had contact with Merging about this issue back in 2019. VST 3 automatically adapts to the channel layout dictated by the host, that's were it went wrong. We heard from a mutual customer that there was an option added at the VST plugin routing page to change the default channel layout to whatever the plugin supports maximum. I must say we didn't test that feature for ourselves.
Its up to Pyramix to dictate the correct channel layout to the plug-in, so I suggest you contact them about this as well. However, please make sure to checkout the added option in the VST plug-in routing page as that apparently does the trick as well (depending on the version you're using).
