ProC2 - Vocal mode causing major distortion

Vocal mode introduces some really strong distortion unless I have a really high attack.

I can't remember this happening before, but in the last few projects it's been so strong I have to use other modes.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I'm using Ableton 10.1.9. Mac Catalina. VST3 versions.

Did you resolve this issue? I have huge digital distortion problem in vocal mode. This setting is completely unusable. I need to rebounce several tracks to correct the issue after discovering that ProC2 is the cause. (Windows 10 system, running as plugin in protools)

At fast release and especially attack times vocal mode always distorted (but never in an extrem way). Using look ahead solves the problem, though.
