Is FabFilter Pro-Q3 automation sample accurate?
I'm using FabFilter Pro Q3 and have noticed i cannot create automation bound by clips in ProTools otherwise the automation will "zip" to the setting. If I use the included Avid EQ3 plugin it seems I don't have that issue. I'm wondering if anyone else comes across this and if it is a Fab Filter issue or Pro Tools issue.

It's a PT thing. You can get the same thing with AVID channel strip or any other EQ or plugin in busy/large sessions. You have to factor a bit of handle. Extreme EQ changes on clip boundaries can lead to short sweeps on playback. On
