Ff pro q 3- edits not affecting audio?

Hi, so ive got a Logic project open. I have a pro Q3 on a kick drum with previously set parameters, but these parameters have stopped having any affect on the audio?

Also writing in automation doesnt affect the audio at all. (i can see the band move on the plugin where the automations been written)?

If i put in fresh edits on the same instance it does behave normally again?

Whats going on here??

I'm not able to replicate it again. I've not had the issue before and I suspect it may be interference from another plugin - perhaps SoundToys as that was the only new factor in my workflow.

I'll come back to this thread if I get the issue again.

Funnily enough, the issue stopped immediately after I was no longer subject to a client deadline hahaha
