Midi sides on bass

Hi,

I am trying to use mid/sides on a bass, so the mids and highs have stereo and the sub is in mono. I swear this was easy to do when I tried a while back but for some reason when I add a cut it takes the frequencies out. Should it not just remove the stereo or mono instead of cutting the db in a certain frequency band?

Hi Chew,

With Pro-Q 3 it's indeed very easy to use a filter on just the mids or the sides. However, it's a bit more complicated that just removing frequencies from the center or the sides.
